Delete your account
You can delete your GoldNah account and the data linked to it at any time yourself – directly in the app, without writing to us.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open GoldNah and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
- Next to Delete account, tap Delete.
- Enter your password and the requested confirmation. The account is deleted immediately.
What is deleted
- Account, username, display name and sign-in data
- All your listings, including photos
- Your conversations and messages on the server
- Ratings and trade confirmations
- Push registration, sessions and events
What is kept
- Reports (abuse reports) about you or made by you are kept with pseudonymous IDs to fight abuse.
- Backups at our database provider are overwritten in line with its regular cycle.
- Saved history on your device is removed by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
Good to know
- Deletion is final and cannot be undone.
Cannot get into your account any more?
If you have neither password nor recovery key, write to info@goldnah.de with your username. We need to make sure the account is yours – for example by details of your listings. We usually delete the account within 30 days after successful verification.
The server deletes chat messages automatically after 30 days anyway.
Konto löschen
Du kannst dein GoldNah-Konto und die damit verbundenen Daten jederzeit selbst löschen – direkt in der App, ohne uns zu schreiben.
So löschst du dein Konto in der App
- Öffne GoldNah und melde dich an.
- Gehe zu Profil → Einstellungen → Konto.
- Tippe bei Konto löschen auf Löschen.
- Gib dein Passwort und die verlangte Bestätigung ein. Das Konto wird sofort gelöscht.
Was gelöscht wird
- Konto, Benutzername, Anzeigename und Anmeldedaten
- alle deine Anzeigen samt Fotos
- deine Konversationen und Nachrichten auf dem Server
- Bewertungen und Handelsbestätigungen
- Push-Anmeldung, Sitzungen und Ereignisse
Was bleibt
- Meldungen (Missbrauchsmeldungen), die dich betreffen oder von dir stammen, bleiben mit pseudonymen Kennungen erhalten, um Missbrauch zu bekämpfen.
- Backups unseres Datenbank-Anbieters werden nach dessen regulärem Zyklus überschrieben.
- Gespeicherte Verläufe auf deinem Gerät entfernst du, indem du die App-Daten löschst oder die App deinstallierst.
Wichtig zu wissen
- Die Löschung ist endgültig und kann nicht rückgängig gemacht werden.
Du kommst nicht mehr in dein Konto?
Wenn du weder Passwort noch Wiederherstellungsschlüssel hast, schreibe an info@goldnah.de mit deinem Benutzernamen. Wir müssen sicherstellen, dass das Konto dir gehört – z. B. anhand von Angaben zu deinen Anzeigen. Wir löschen das Konto in der Regel innerhalb von 30 Tagen nach erfolgreicher Prüfung.
Chat-Nachrichten löscht der Server ohnehin automatisch nach 30 Tagen.
